Butter, Butter Everywhere

I have a confession to make:  I made dinner tonight and used no Fleurt Butter.  I feel like I should be given penance.  I just couldn’t stomach it.  I’ve made SO much butter in the last three days that I just couldn’t look at or smell another spoonful.

That being said, it was the prefect dinner to Fleurt with.  Sauteed chicken, sliced fingerling potatoes with cucumber, tomato and feta salad.  A little Roasted Garlic Herb butter would’ve been perfect with the potatoes and chicken.  I will say that, even though I didn’t use Fleurt, my girls still cleaned their plates (although that could have had something to do with the fact that they had no afternoon snack today)!

I am aware that I have not posted in a while and trust me, I’ve been losing sleep over this (seriously).  It’s as though I’ve had ‘bloggers block’ – and I use the term ‘blogger’ lightly.  I guess I could add this to the list of things I should do penance for.  But now I’m back!  I’m sure you’ll all breath a collective sigh of relief.  Ha!

Here are some pics that I’ve snapped over the last few weeks.  Proof that I haven’t been sitting on my rear end, like I am now at the end of a VERY long day.  It’s a good time for therapy (a glass of white this time) and online Christmas shopping.  Anyway, onto the pics…

Roasted Garlic Herb before...

Roasted Garlic Herb after!

Chipotle Lime prep...look how nice and fresh!

My friend Jen's Fleurty Thanksgiving turkey featuring Fleurt Roasted Garlic Herb Butter!!!

Can't resist posting a non-Fleurt item... ice cream cone cupcakes for my daughter's 6th birthday! SO yummy!

PS:  I have no idea why the pictures aren’t aligned right and quite frankly, I’m too tired to try and figure it out.  I should promise that I’ll fix them tomorrow but it’s unlikely that will happen.  Ugh.  I need some more therapy…

About Fleurt Butter

Butter's been given a bad rap over the years and I'm on a mission to make butter sexy again; to take delicious, flavorful, colorful, sensuous butter. I am not a chef; I blush when I refer to myself as a 'cook' because that seems too generous. Sometimes I turn out dishes that I am incredibly proud of, often times I'm just pleased to get something on the table without burning the house down. The idea behind Fleurt is that using it in meal preparation enables me to put fabulous food on the table in front of my family and friends with a minimum risk of botching the job! I should warn you that I can not be held responsible for all grammatical errors and general rambling...I might be undergoing 'therapy' as I write (see my 1st post). I'm writing these posts and cringing as I do so. I've yet to be convinced that people actually want to read what I write, but I am hopeful that the recipes I post are used and enjoyed. I certainly have fun testing them and finding ways to bring Fleurt into my daily life!
