Re-Entry Sucks

I definitely have a case of the Mondays (thank you Office Space).  It’s sod’s law that after being out of town for the weekend (and hyping Fleurt Butter at every opportunity) I would hit Monday like it’s a brick wall.  What is the point of going away for a relaxing (read: boozy) weekend with your husband if it means you have hell to pay come Monday AM?  An ever-evolving to-do list, sick kids, and a budget that’s tighter than K Fed’s old jeans have made for a hell of a morning.

But now it’s time allow my inner control freak to rear its ugly head and change how the rest of my day will go.  The kids are sedated (oops, I mean napping) and I’ve replenished my stock of sample size containers which means I can package the Roasted Garlic Herb and Chipotle Lime butters today.  Ahhh, happiness is…  I think I may even send final approval to the printer for my business cards and hopefully sort out my brochures. 

Of course that still leaves nutritional analysis to sort out, figuring out funding, and the holy grail: getting buyers to answer my phone calls!!  Wish me luck.

P.S. I did it!  Labeled samples of all four flavors are currently residing in my refrigerator!!  Excuse the crappy resolution and composition of the pic, but I’m so excited that I couldn’t resist getting a picture posted right away.  I’ll get a better one posted in the next day or two (don’t hold your breath, though).

Butter's been given a bad rap over the years and I'm on a mission to make butter sexy again; to take delicious, flavorful, colorful, sensuous butter. I am not a chef; I blush when I refer to myself as a 'cook' because that seems too generous. Sometimes I turn out dishes that I am incredibly proud of, often times I'm just pleased to get something on the table without burning the house down. I certainly have fun testing them and finding ways to bring Fleurt into my daily life!
